MSA Students perform well for State AFL Squads

Past and present Maribyrnong Sports Academy students are impressing on the field for both State teams and squads heading into the AFL junior carnival period.

We wish all students the best at their respective carnivals. Meanwhile the Grand final of the NAB League Women’s competition was held over the weekend between Northern Knights and Calder Cannons.  Five MSA Students competed in the match.  Georgia Patrikios, Georgie Prespakis and Neve Crowley played for the Cannons who went down to the Knights by  33 points. For the victors Ellie McKenzie (13 disposals, six marks and one goal) had a great game while Jess Fitzgerald wonthe best-on-ground medal for a team-high 15 disposals, five tackles and three rebound-50s.
