MSA Hockey Program Head Coach

Classes Taught:  Year 11 Psychology, Year 10 ADP, Year 7 Sport Education

Sport Coached:  Hockey

Coaching Qualifications:  Level 2 Accredited Hockey Australia Coach (Currently completing the Level 3 – Advanced Coach course)

Achievements:  Debuted for the Kookaburras (Australian Mens Hockey Team) in 2002 and played 114 internationals, culminating in a Bronze Medal while competing at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.  Moved into coaching with a highlight being the Assistant Coach of the Australian Boys Hockey Team at the Youth Olympic Games, Singapore 2010.  The past three years Andrew has been Assistant Coach of the Victorian Vikings Mens Hockey Team which has won the past two national championships.

Education:  Bachelor of Applied Science (Physical Education)

Teaching Career:  Completed three terms contract work at St Helena Secondary College, Eltham (2010), followed by a one term contract at Trinity Grammar (2010), before gaining employment at Maribyrnong Secondary and working at the school and Sports Academy (2011-present).
